Sculpture/Metals Lab Aide
Tracking Code200273 Job DescriptionMonitor Metals and/or Sculpture lab, service and repair equipment, and assist students as needed to insure that all equipment is used in a proper and safe manner. Must be responsible and possess a helpful and cooperative attitude with students and instructors. Maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the lab. Open and close studio promptly in accordance with the scheduled lab times. This position will support the Fine Art, Photo & Film program by multi-tasking many responsibilities in the department, including but not limited to, taking a significant role in the smooth operation of the facility at JCCC.
- Familiarity with sculpture/metalsmithing processes and equipment

- High School graduate or equivalent
- Associates Degree or higher
- Extensive experience with tools
- Previous experience in an academic Metals and/or Sculpture studio setting
