Solomon, the leading performance improvement company for the global energy industry, is seeking candidates for a Senior Accountant to perform both routine and complex accounting activities and prepare various monthly journal entries and reports. The candidate will be responsible for expense report reconciliations and client billback; working with employees, management, and corporate accounting to ensure employee expenses are approved and paid on a timely basis. The Senior Accountant will assist in customer billing, accounts receivable tracking, and customer follow up on aged invoices. The position prepares and publishes monthly revenue recognition analysis and projection, completes monthly service line reporting, prepares budgets/ forecasts, and variance analysis. Responsibilities include general & administrative expense analysis and reporting by department; ad hoc reporting as requested by management, various balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries; year-end audit and tax support for all Solomon locations. The Senior Accountant is a key member of the team charged with implementing new company-wide ERP system.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Master's degree or CPA certification
Work Experience
5–7 years in general ledger accounting, financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, and internal control compliance
Advanced Excel user; intermediate level knowledge of Outlook and Word
Able to plan and successfully accomplish goals
Works well in a small team and can successfully fill multiple roles in a given month
Budgeting experience a plus
Non-Technical Skills
Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
Organized and detail oriented
Proficient in both verbal and written communication
