Job Description The Office of Admissions/Graduate Admissions at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Senior Admissions Processor to join our team.

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Disseminate information to students, staff, and faculty concerning all aspects of Graduate admission and policies and procedures of the Toulouse Graduate School.
* Work directly with students (domestic and international) during the application process for admission to Masters and Doctoral degree programs at UNT.
* Data entry of application materials and transcripts into the EIS system.
* Verify authenticity of academic credentials and accreditation of schools.
* Transcript of GPA evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate will possess Graduation from High School or GED equivalent and three years of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:
* Skill in telephone etiquette and courteous communication with public, verbally and in writing.
* Skill in evaluating facts or situation to route calls/customers appropriately.
* Basic MS Office skills
* Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines including, personal computers, telephones and copiers.
* Skill in filing and recordkeeping.
* Skill in English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
* Skill in basic math.
* Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Associate Degree or 3 years of office experience.
* One year of experience in a college/university setting.
* Experience in data entry and ten key.
* Detail oriented and organized.
* Ability to work independently and work well with a team.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines with a "can do" attitude.
* Experience in PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office.
* Physical ability to lift boxes of supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time and access file cabinets including pulling, bending, standing, and stooping.
* Availability to work extended hours during registration periods as required.
