Position Description


We have an
opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to work with our Nebraska Medicaid
health plan. In this role you will work
with non-emergency medical transportation issues, resolving member issues,
provider issues, watching vendor performance and notifying appropriately any
issues discovered. You will review
reporting to ensure performance quality, you will be involved in auditing and
work across multiple departments. You must be prepared to work with a sense of
urgency to resolve urgent and critical situations for members and vendors. This position is located in our office in
Omaha, NE.


Primary
Responsibilities:


- Work
closely with individuals and teams to resolve customer issues
- Lead
or support various initiatives and projects
- Design,
develop, modify, support, and evaluate existing programs and reports
- Provide
reporting solutions for new and ongoing contract requirement, projects, and
audits dashboards and / or PowerPoint slide decks
- Develop
reports and metrics of high importance and visibility
- Define
long-term strategies for implementing process and / or reporting improvements
- Develop
positive relationships with health plan leaders, organizational functional
leaders and functional stakeholders

Required
Qualifications:


- 2+
years of experience in data analytics
- 1+
years of experience in vendor oversight (must have experience reconciling bills
to invoices)
- 1+
years of experience in Operations or Project Management
- Ability
to consume and analyze information / reports and take action
- Intermediate
or greater proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite products
- Proven
ability to build positive relationships, communicate and present information in
professional manner.


Preferred
Qualifications:


- BA / BS in Business
or a related field
- Healthcare experience
in claims, benefits, or related field
- Ability to work with
a sense of urgency on a routine basis
- Experience
in Medicaid health plan or government healthcare
- High
attention to detail, excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
