Senior Business Systems Analyst, AVP
Whippany, NJ
 
This position is part of the KYC/Onboarding team within Barclays Service Company responsible for development and delivery of IT services to our firm which includes shaping and delivering the portfolio of change to ensure our clients have uninterrupted access to the critical services they require to run their business. The KYC and Onboarding team manage development and delivery of systems to support the “Know Your Customer” and Onboarding processes.
 
What will you be doing?
•Working with application owners to define business requirements and feeding this into the development teams.
•You will be responsible for ensuring solutions are designed in the right way, considering short and long-term impact on business objectives as well as technology rationalization,  leveraging your knowledge  and networking to provide logical solutions.
•Work independently to elicit, validate and document systems requirements in either BRDs or user/feature stories depending on the SDLC in use by the development teams.
•Participation in the Design process coordinated by the Program Management team, from Design approval to functional design completion – help to ensure the functionality/benefits envisaged are delivered.
•You will coordinate, plan and perform analysis tasks for specialist applications and manage internal domain analysis resources for components of a Program.
 
What we’re looking :
•3+ years of experience with requirements gathering and analysis, building BRDs and user stories
•3+ years of experience with designing functional specs, wireframes, mockups
•3+ years of experience creating traceability and acceptance criteria
•3+ years experience with some of the underpinning frameworks and tools for business analysis documentation e.g. UML / BPMN
 
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Any experience working on PEGA based applications or PEGA certifications
•knowledge of specialist area to be credible with business users and SMEs. Is still developing SME knowledge in a number of areas
•experience of the software development lifecycle, the roles and responsibilities on large projects and the motivations of the actors involved
•Some understanding of project methodologies and their application within the organization's project methodology
•Exposure to working in medium to large scale change initiatives with exposure to domain activities
•Experience of preparing and issuing a range of key business analysis deliverables
•Adept at using Microsoft Office products with some experience using other software packages relevant to BA work
•Business Analysis Accreditation(s)
