The Senior Director, Global Analytics and Data Sciences leads a global team and drives a culture of analytical thinking and a data-first decision-making within J&J Vision. This person brings intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, ability to influence decisions at the highest levels within the organization and build and sustain a culture of driving predictive analytics. The position is also responsible for collaborating with J&J Enterprise Data Science cross functional teams for hiring, knowledge sharing and talent management.
Responsibilities:

Own J&J Vision’s global commercial data strategy and work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups – Technology, Commercial, Supply Chain and R&D to implement an effective analytics capability to drive business outcomes.
Lead a global team responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective analytical capability with a focus on Commercial, Digital and CRM analytics.
Drive selection, modeling and deployment of Data Science use cases across the Vision Franchise. Partner with J&J Enterprise Data Science teams, External vendors, Government agencies to deliver effective Data Science and predictive modeling capabilities.
Lead the global Health of Business process and support the Vision Care leadership team with relevant and predictive business performance insights.
Partner with key regional and global stakeholders and provide analytics support to drive data driven decision-making, performance measurement and tracking of key business metrics.
Leverage latest analytical models and tools including Data Discovery solutions, Dash boarding Suites, statistical techniques and predictive modeling to provide continuous updates and insights at all levels of the organization in the form of standard reports and scorecards, ad hoc analysis, new product business cases and channel analytics.
Ownership of JJVCs long range forecasting process and financial modeling for inputs into the Strategic Plan.
Partner with Marketing, Key Accounts, Sales, Operations and Professional teams to help identify and track metrics to optimize spending on projects and campaigns, measurement of outcomes, optimization of resources and overall health of the business.
Understand larger macroeconomic trends in key markets especially within the eye healthcare space and how they impact the organization.
Provide periodic updates to J&J Vision board teams on company performance vis-à-vis competition – value and volume share, category and brand performance, areas of opportunity for share gain, macro trends etc. Provide a strategic view of competitors identifying opportunities and preempting potential future risks.
Partner with J&J Technology to lead the development and maintenance of data strategy and cloud initiatives for JJVC with a view towards building new capabilities for the future.
Represent JJVC in Global J&J cross franchise analytics initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree (MBA or MHA) with an emphasis in Marketing, Economics, Systems and or Finance preferred
12+ years of relevant business experience is required
6+ years of progressive experience in Analytics, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Finance required
Experience in consumer goods and/or healthcare or a related area preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed is strongly preferred. Ability to interact with and influence senior leadership teams preferred.
