DescriptionTuftsUniversity’s Human Resources office seeks an experienced, creative, strategicand results-oriented Senior HR Generalist to join a thirteen-person workforcestrategies team, providing HR consulting and recruiting services. With thestrong support of peers and HR leadership, the Senior HR Generalist will serveas a strong collaborator to client groups, leveraging best practices andresources to support client populations and Tufts’ vision of a culture ofinclusion.


QualificationsTheexperienced HR professional will provide staff recruitment, employee relationssupport, policy interpretation, workforce planning, and organizationaldevelopment activities to a defined client group. The Senior HR Generalist maylead and will participate in projects and initiatives to support employeeengagement and organization development for client groups.

Theideal candidate will have a solid understanding and demonstrable knowledge ofemployment laws, employee relations, recruitment and sourcing, workforceplanning, compensation practices, and organizational diagnosis and design. Thatcandidate will demonstrate knowledge of and experience in sourcing candidateseffectively, based on job requirements. The Senior HR Generalist will create the optimum candidate experience,with an ability to convey compensation and benefits information to the finalistsin the decision-making process.

This positionrequires experience working with complex systems, including HRIS and ATS.
