Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities include:
- Trian and supervise lower level inspectors performing routine to moderately complex inspections of roadway assets to assure compliance with the maintenance contract and other applicable guidelines
- Develop training opportunities and execute training classes to teach skills and knowledge to employees.
- Monitoring traffic control and erosion control for transportation-related projects.
- Monitoring cost estimates
- Negotiating prices for contract modifications with contractors
- Writing or supervising the preparation of reports and correspondence
- Working and communicating with contractors, supervisors, subordinates, local officials, media and the general public.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in a related field and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Thorough knowledge of mathematical functions, including algebraic, geometric, and trigonometric calculations related to highway/transportation engineering.
- Ability to read and comprehend maintenance plans and contracts and all other documents associated with the project.
