Electric USA Inc. is a leading manufacturer of equipment for electrical
distribution, industrial control, and automation. We have the following
position available in Hopkins, South Carolina.
Mechanical Engineer (Multiple positions): S/he will be responsible for
resolution of PEP Light Track projects (PCR's); s/he corrects issues in
engineering records (Drawings, BOMs) for the standard product offering for QED2
and PZ4/QED6 product lines. S/he is assigned PEP Full Track/PMP projects; s/he
fully understands design intent of new offering and to provide applications/plant
input. S/he assists with Content Testing/Paper Pilots as needed. S/he acts as
First Level product support for plant. S/he works closely with Design
Engineering and interface with multiple functions/ facilities. S/he interacts
with manufacturing associates while supporting designs through the manufacturing
process. S/he gains understanding of UL1558/891 and ANSI C37 in order to
engineer the necessary designs.
requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related and two years
of work experience as a Mechanical Engineer in engineering systems. Also must
have two years of work experience with: 1) completing custom mechanical design
of Switchgear ANSI C37 and Switchboards UL1558/891 based on specifications; 2)
creating 3D parametric models needed for the development of bus, barriers,
supports, sheet metal parts and assemblies using Creo; 3) reviewing and solving
the issues with the standard assembles for Switchboards and Switchgears
products; and 4) creating proper documents revision and models modification to
ensure no future issues in production using Creo and Symphony.
