This responsibility extends from breadboards and prototypes through close involvement with the manufacturing teams who will implement the designs into commercial products. This individual must be fluent in the design and debugging methods of mechanical systems, as well as be capable of producing mechanical parts and subsystems in house and using 3rd party suppliers. Candidate must be hands on to prototype and evaluate designs in the lab. Candidate must be expert in SolidWorks and must be highly proficient at fluidic analyses and simulations. Candidate will work closely with the internal cross-functional team of SW engineers, Electrical engineers, and Chemists to ensure systems are successfully implemented and will also work closely with the manufacturing team to transfer manufacturable designs. This individual will also work quite closely with the Industrial design partner to faithfully implement the project vision.

Educational RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

Qualifications and Experience5 years’ experience with successful track record of commercial launch
