The Connected Car services team is responsible for developing the platform and the API that helps our customers connect to their vehicle and manage it remotely. For example, remote start, heat or cool, lock, unlock, geo locate, etc. Or get real-time speed alerts, geo-fence alerts, vehicle diagnostics, etc.
As we expand our product offerings and take on more customers we are embarking on an exciting journey to transform our technology stack to support an open source platform to meet the scale and resiliency needs.
We are looking for an outstanding front end software engineer to help tackle the exciting technical opportunities ahead. This is an opportunity to develop high-profile Connect Car portal products, build systems at scale, leverage open source and cloud technologies, and seek challenging and business-impacting projects for the team to tackle.

As a part of our core team:
You will own an entire section of our technical stack by taking projects from an idea to production
You can leave your mark on many different initiatives which will impact both the technology and business.
You will implement various new technologies that will determine the shape of the platform (i.e. the cutting edge front end development technologies and frameworks).
You will teach the team and collaborate with them about innovative new technologies and concepts.
You should have passion for writing beautiful code to wow your peers and relentless pursuit of ‘perfection’
You should have a knack for designing and appreciating the aesthetic aspect of front end user experience engineering
You will be an excellent generalist who is skilled at multitasking and performs a number of duties, including, but not limited to:
Participating in a cross functional team environment and to work closely with product, UX, QA, backend engineering and OPS throughout the full cycle
Designing and building highly secure and scalable front end enterprise web portals
Integrating with testing, coverage and deployment pipelines.
Designing SQL database schemas (both RDBMS and NoSQL), as well as managing backups and migrations.
Maintain the existing portfolio of web portal products
What we’re looking for...
Must Have:
5+ years of project experiences with the fundamental front-end web engineering stack (HTML, Javascript (ES5/6), CSS)
2+ years of implementation experience in designing and building complex, high traffic web portals using Angular (version 2+) framework
2+ years of project implementation experiences using Angular stack (i.e. Components, Templates, Pipes,
