What You’ll Do
The Network Security team manages the Next-Gen Firewall product line, including our NGFW platforms and security management tools. Our new cloud-based centralized security orchestrator provides an integrated and consistent security policy management solution. This offering integrates with multiple Cisco and 3rd party security control points allowing customers to build consistent security policies across their hybrid network.

In this role you will conduct market research, customer surveys and work closely with our sales team to define and prioritize the requirements for our cloud offering. You will get an in depth understanding of the customer use cases and the product workflows and partner with our UX team to create the best user experience. You will help the engineering team understand the requirements and make sure the acceptance criteria are well understood.

Primary role and responsibilities
We’re looking for a smart, energetic product manager to play a key role in growing the capabilities of our cloud offering. As a product manager, you enjoy thinking through what it takes to build a world-class offering, you know how to communicate that to engineering, you know how to see it through a successful launch, communicate it to sales and generate market and customer adoption. In this position, you will help drive growth by defining the product, features and make sure it is tuned to the market and to our customers. 
Work directly with customers to understand their problems and requirements. 
Identify and present innovative and creative product solutions. 
Conduct market analysis, competitive analysis and translate it to product direction. 
Validate requirements and resulting product features with customers to ensure success. 
Broker and facilitate product decisions cross functionally. 
Balance business and user needs with technical constraints - discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommending alternative approaches, and lead and inspire engineering efforts to meet objectives. 
Work with the UX team to build an innovative and market leading user experience
Manage packaging and pricing, from conducting the competitive analysis, through financial modeling and margin analysis
Design effective GTM strategies, work cross-functionally to have them implemented
Partner with sales and SE teams for effective introduction of product into the market
Maintain strong understanding of relevant technologies, contribute as a thought leader in the security industry. 
Produce case studies, white papers, presentations, and other materials to help evangelize the product. 
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of relevant work experience as a Product Manager in a B2B environment, preferably in Cybersecurity
MBA degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science
Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Strong leader and negotiator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to other leaders
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology background
Prior industry experience in building Cloud offerings
Experience in the use of Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity management
