What you’ll be doing...
Our customers have high expectations for our Point of Sale, Fraud and Supply Chain platforms - speed, responsiveness and constant availability. That’s where you come in. You will guide team members to design and implement optimal solutions to complex problems and meet critical business needs. Your optimization and performance skills will help other engineering teams and our vendors drive better Point of Sale, Fraud and Supply Chain platforms architecture and solutions.

You will be leading the AWS Migration of our missions Critical applications from the onprem datacenters and also will drive the Micro Services platform migration from our monolithic applications. The final goal and vision for the applications is to host the services in Containers on AWS and automate the orchestration using Kubernetes. You will help lead us to that final goal.
You view technology through a lens of making things better and more effective. Understanding and creating continual improvements to the application platform is something you thrive on. You enjoy the process of solving complex issues while empowering the team around you to do the same. People count on you to have strong domain experience in Point of Sale, Fraud and Supply Chain application tools, digital delivery methods, and all aspects of production.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have
A Bachelor’s degree
Six or more years of DevOps/Site Reliability engineering experience
Working knowledge of cloud technologies with AWS
Automation experience and ability to code or script at an advance level
Three or more years of experience working on middle technologies like Weblogic, MQ, RabbitMQ, Springboot, REDIS, Elasticsearch etc
Deep expertise in troubleshooting complex distributed systems
100% Hands On capabilities including team collaboration, support, maintenance, and implementation
