Senior Software and Data Engineer
The RODS team is a mature agile development team that has experience adding business value across a wide array of areas, including regulatory, client driven needs and technology strategy. This role requires a well-rounded candidate to contribute in the change to the RODS platform to meet additional business and technology driven demand.
What will you be doing?
•Participate in team Scrum and Agile SDLC to deliver technology change. Improve story point delivery and velocity over time.
•Work within the global technology team to develop innovative solutions to advance business and technology strategy.
•Ensure technology changes are implemented holistically with focus on controls, performance, security, stability, robustness, efficiency and business value.
What we’re looking for:
•4+ years of J2EE server side hands-on experience on Unix/Linux platform, multi-threading, database, caching (Coherence) and messaging, with Java Spring and Spring integration framework
•2+ years experience with a broad base of commercial and open source analysis and visualization tools (i.e. Mat lab, Python, R, SAS JMP, Tableau)
•2+ years experience applying multivariate statistical analysis algorithms including machine learning techniques for classification, regression, and clustering. Techniques for example, but not limited to decision trees, random forest, SVM, logistic regression, neural networks, k-means clustering, Bayesian models and Time Series Analysis
•1+ years experience with Dev Ops tools (git, TeamCity, Nolio etc)
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Ability to communicate with business partners to address infrastructure needs.
•Evidence a deep understanding of industry standard best practices and design patterns.
•Show ability to provide expert knowledge to business users during production support escalations
•Reflect the ability to document and review solution designs and technical documentation.
