What you'll Do
You're Software Engineer and will design, develop, and release in a dynamic agile environment, using modern methodologies and open-source tools. Whether a new feature or a bug fix, you will own your work and deliver the most elegant and scalable solutions, all while learning and growing your skills. You will work and collaborate with autonomous, multi-functional team of makers, doers, and disruptors who love to tackle real problems and meet real customer needs.
 
Day today Responsibilities:
 
·     Serve as lead Developer in Cloud Ready Network (CRN) team specifically focused on NFVIS (Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure Software)

Cisco's Enterprise cloud-ready networks are designed specifically to meet the needs of many types of clouds, with the capabilities need to efficiently operate and consume cloud services., The network is the fundamental foundation that enables the benefits of cloud computing. Regardless of where a service is deployed, it's critical that the underlying infrastructure be capable of delivering high availability, security, mobility, and a great user experience. Cisco calls this "cloud-ready networking" team.
 
Who You Are
 
Job Requirements
 Implement new features and extend existing functionality; take end to end ownership of the assigned work.
·       Work closely with cross functional teams to design and develop new features
·       Work closely with fellow developers on software / system architecture
·       Write specification documents and unit test plan
·       Create estimates and schedules
·       A degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ of experience .
·       The candidate should be self-driven and have a background in build processes, scripting, and automation.
 
What skills you might also possess: 
·       Experience in Linux/KVM/Virtualization
·       Experience in Python
·       Good networking knowledge
·       Experience in building solutions and architecture and security
