Job Title

Senior Software Engineer in Test (SET)

Coordinate and participate in review, revisions, changes, enhancements, testing, documentation, and member notification of product enhancements as they relate to the Commercial & Emerging Solutions applications.
• Provide business knowledge and technical/functional support for business requirements development.
• Work with business partners and customers to define alternatives and recommend optimal solutions to product issues. Work closely with developers to identify potential data quality improvements and additional application functionality in designing of new functionality or enhancements to MasterCard Commercial products.


• Demonstrate expertise of principles, theories, and concepts plus in-depth knowledge of business / functional requirements gathering as part of the software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate business requests to determine feasibility, work with Software Engineers to define alternatives and recommend optimal solutions.
• Prepare and analyze various reports to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Strong SQL, UNIX, C++, and Scripting skills
• Motivated self-starter
• Strong documentation skills and presentations skills

All About You

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of all phases of a Software Development Life Cycle
• Deliver time-saving process improvements that will be repeatable, maintainable, valuable, and fit into MasterCard's vision.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required
• Candidates with previous production support skills a plus
• Experience with UNIX, Linux, or AIX a plus
