Senior User Interface Artist
As a Senior UI Artist at Vicarious Visions you will craft and bring the player interface to life through art, design and motion graphics. As part of our awesome team, you will collaborate with designers and engineers on the overall planning, execution, and success of our projects by crafting the best user interface possible for various games.

About the role
Working closely with Game Designers to create and implement UI Assets that communicate well to targeted player bases
Defining and maintaining a consistent art style while creating UI components such as icons, menus, logos, banners, in game HUD elements, and maps
Developing UI/UX wireframes and prototypes.
Lead a team of UI Artists to execute the creative vision of the project.
Assisting Engineering in the implementation of UI components and animations.
Crafting motion mocks for UI animations.
Providing accurate estimates for UI work of you and your team.
Keep up to date with video game UI art / design trends.
Writing documentation as necessary
You have 5+ years of professional UI, Web design or Graphic Design Experience
You have expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects (Or equivalent motion graphics software)
You have deep understanding of UX design principals and standard methodologies.
You have the ability to work within specific styles as set out by the product or Art Director.
You quickly pick up and learn new tools sets and techniques
You excel in a team setting, working with creative individuals toward a common goal
You have strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Have an Art or related degree a plus
Posses a real passion for gaming a plus
