Service Assurance VP – Global Reconciliation Services
Global Reconciliation Services is a Utility which was formed to provide end-to-end reconciliations services across the bank. Our internal clients include Market Operations, Global Payments and Wealth Investment Services, where we perform Cash, Trade Depot and Balance Sheet reconciliations. You will be a presence in the Whippany location ensuring the best in class reconciliation services for Markets Operations, and will be working with senior management of our Global Markets Core Operations and Middle Office.
What will you be doing?
•You will be interacting with a broad range of stakeholders including Functional leads, Service Area leads, Finance, HR, Sourcing Regulatory and Control teams, and collaborating with various operations and technology teams on new initiatives and change projects
•Ensure optimal reconciliation design and builds
•Support timely reconciliation delivery and identify areas for improvement
•Work in close partnership with the Production leads and Transformation leads to delivery best in-class reconciliations
•You will also be called upon to represent GRS in regulatory or audit related workshops.
What we’re looking for:
•At a min 4 years Bachelors degree level education
•4+ years of Project management experience
•5+ years of experience of Financial Services industry
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Working knowledge of reconciliations and specific product processes for e.g. MACRO Business [i.e. FX, MM, Rates, Credit, Commodities, Loans], Futures, Equities, Fixed income operations, Market Portfolio, •Collateral Management, US Securities Settlements
•Working knowledge of Reconciliation tools like Intellimatch, TLM etc
•Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word
•SEC certification for Operations and Accounting knowledge would be helpful
•Ability to drive and influence reconciliation design principles
•Exposure to Lean & Automation implementations
•Experience working with diverse virtual teams in a constantly changing environment
