Position Summary:Under general supervision of the restaurant manager, this position will function and serve as lead worker/cook for the Sett Pub. The position duties will include food preparation work, production and serving of food, supply and distribution of food and supplies to service areas; and cleaning of assigned work areas. The position will also oversee, direct and coordinate the work of part-time staff.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to perform physically demanding work frequently during each eight-hour shift.
* Ability to push or pull wheeled carts, up to 150#'s.
* Lift pans weighing 30#'s out of cart and place on serving line.
* Lift to chest height, bend, stoop, carry and place in storage up to 75#'s.
* The physical design of the building requires many trips up and down stairs. Stairs may be full lengths between floors or short flights. Many repetitions of climbing up and down the stairs, and inside or outside, is required.

Work Schedule:Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Badger Bash/special events and occasional nights/holidays depending on operational needs.

Relevant Work Experience:
- High volume food preparation and line cooking with an emphasis on grilling
-Training, guiding and leading part-time, temporary and student staff
-Working knowledge of current food sanitation guidelines (ServSafe)
-Experience with ordering and inventory procedures for foods and supplies
-Portion control
-Fantastic customer service and sincere hospitality
