Description

Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.


Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 5 years of software development experience desired.
Experience with a variety of languages: C, C++ or python
Microservices and Scripting automation in PowerShell.
Web development: Angular, JavaScript, NodeJS
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and industry-standard SW design principles.
Some understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Should be comfortable to work in a start up like environment and must be able to adapt & develop to evolving requirements
Preferred Qualifications:

Should demonstrate application of architectural principles, design patterns
Familiar with build automation using Jenkins, Team City, Artifactory
Machine Learning, Analytics, and Indicators/Metrics generation: Teams, PowerBI
and relational database administration, queries, and structured data management
DevOps paradigms & principles
Systems Engineering best practices & principles
