As part of the Security Business Group at Cisco this team has released amazing software for a while, however we treat each day like it's Day 1. We are passionate about challenging ourselves to build and ship amazing software solutions to tackle our customer's problems.
What you'll do
Play a crucial role in driving next-gen software innovations including cloud, mobile, desktop or security spaces. You'll build applications that make technology accessible to people on a variety of devices. Invent, design, and build solutions to transform how we work, live, learn and play.
Who you are
Are you persistent and not afraid of fighting against internet security threats? Are you passionate about security product development? Are you a self starter who’s always passionate about personal improvement?
If “yes”, this team has:
A passion to defend our customers networks against all possible threats.
Best of the breed products portfolio addressing internet security.
A top-notch engineering team with dynamic technical leaders.
Agile development and open mind for new methodologies to drive startup paced product development.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
3-5 years of full-stack development
BS/MS/Ph.D in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or equivalent
You have precise attention to detail and accountability
You understand team strategies and objectives
You are motivated to learn and improve everything around you
You have excellent people skills and enjoy working with various teams in multiple locations
You also have:
Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue.js, Ember.js, etc.)
Python, Perl and/or C.
Experience with relational databases, including the creation of database objects (schemas, tables, views, etc.), writing ad-hoc queries, and creating stored procedures
Familiarity with JSON
