About the job
As a Solutions Consultant, you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design scalable systems and integration solutions for our business teams. You actively engage with cross-functional teams and work closely with strategic partners to shape the successes of our products.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a Supply Chain Planning system solution required to scale and support our growing Google Hardware business, which includes integrations with internal systems and other SAAS applications. This role includes solutioning, hands on work in our systems, and program and stakeholder management.
The project efforts require an astute ability to solve complex problems and build scalable solutions, to learn Google’s infrastructure, and to gain a deep understanding of our evolving business model. You can expertly assess operational workflows and target application feature development to support the goals of that workflow, not just mimic an existing process. You have an understanding of supply chain and finance process, systems, and domain data; experience with demand planning.
Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our Hardware team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, more powerful, and seamless. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, our Hardware team is making people's lives better through technology.
Responsibilities
Work hand in hand with the business to define comprehensive business requirements, make the business case for applications or features that support our operations.
Lead systems design and development of our planning systems through understanding of business requirements and translation to technical requirements; applying understanding of key dependencies and systems capabilities.
Maintain hygienic systems, pipes, dashboards and support production systems. Serve as systems subject matter expert for troubleshooting and ad hoc efforts across the business and Engineering teams.
Organize, collect, and analyze relevant project data and manage project work predictably. Facilitate broad collaboration with clear communication and documentation.
Build trust based relationships with key stakeholders, and influence partner teams in order to meet collective goals.
