Specialist, Corporate Training & Talent Development(Job Number: HAC0000OO) Honda Aircraft Company, LLC  Description General Summary:
Position will assume direct responsibility for spearheading efforts to establish, maintain and enhance leadership development initiatives acrossthe company. Position will work proactively to create a positive working environment grounded in The Honda Philosophy within which all levels of leadership possess the managerial skill sets to effectively engage, motivate and grow talent, teams and business performance for the betterment of all associates and the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform needs assessments and make recommendations on organizational development strategies and initiatives.

Work with all levels of management to determine core competencies required for key positions in the organization and identify specific resources to support the acquisition and maintenance of those competencies.

Ensure that all programs, training sessions and learning initiatives are grounded in and accurately reflect the core values of The Honda Philosophy.

Plan, conduct and evaluate professional leadership development programs as needed.

Coordinate with other Honda companies to identify available organizational development programs and resources applicable to company's needs.

Build and maintain libraries of print and virtual resources that address frequently required or desired leader competencies.

Establish and maintain relationships with exceptional externalsubject matter expertsand/or organizations that can provide expertise or training to the company.Qualifications 
Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or licensure:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development or related field.
Minimum five years of experience-with a strong preference for eight to tenyears of experience- in afield relevant to the duties of the position, such as human resources, training, education or organizational and leadership development
Minimum three years of experience demonstrating a leading role in the training and development initiatives of an organization.
Demonstrated knowledge throughdirect experience with learning concepts, training and development methods and techniques.
Experience within the aviation/aerospace industry is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

Incumbents may be routinelyexposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.

Incumbents may be requiredto stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).

Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.

Effectively communicate in Business English language.

Pull, push, carry, lift,or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50Ibs or more duringthe work shift,with the use of Companyprovided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties
