CLSS is responsible for the machine generated-log consumption, and making the aggregated data available to the appropriate parties.This role will support the senior-level Infrastructure Engineering work within the enterprise Splunk environment. The contractor will support engineering functions that directly contribute to the capacity and performance of the Splunk environment.The selected individual must be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, with constantly evolving needs. Will partner as a technical resource on large-scale (enterprise wide) application/infrastructure delivery initiatives.Required Qualifications7+ years of operating systems analysis experience, operating systems engineering experience, or a combination of both5+ years of UNIX experience5+ years of infrastructure experience5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScriptDesired QualificationsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to interact with all levels of an organizationSDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experienceSplunk experienceIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsKnowledge and understanding of application development, infrastructure, and architecture environmentsKnowledge and understanding of systems, storage, and network infrastructureA BS/BA degree or higherOther Desired QualificationsExperience working in a large enterprise environment – scale, change controls, process & proceduresExperience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) premium productExperience with Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) premium productOther Splunk premium products experience a plus - UBA, Hunk, MLTK, etc.Splunk Knowledge Object ManagementSplunk query, reporting, and dashboard skills with particular emphasis on reporting on infrastructure & application performance & capacityJob ExpectationsAbility to travel up to 5% of the timeAbility to work outside of regular business hoursDisclaimerAll offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
