Janssen is currently recruiting for a Sr. Director, Oncology Franchise Strategy and Key Accounts to be located in Horsham, PA.
 
The Senior Director, Oncology Franchise Strategy and Key Accounts, is a critical senior management position leading marketing strategy across our portfolio of Oncology brands in the areas of Key Account Management Sales and Marketing teams as well as market access marketing, channel marketing, patient strategy, key account strategy, marketing engagement and Education (MEET) and thought leader engagement and education, which includes the medical education field team and Customer Experience teams. This role will report directly to the President but will collaborate closely with the VPs of Sales & Marketing, Directors of Marketing, National Sales Directors, and Strategic Customer functions across Janssen. 
 
This role will be responsible for developing an integrated strategic plan for the Oncology franchise across all brands, building the value proposition and branding experience, working to maximize our marketing communications to payers, providers, thought leaders and patients, working in conjunction with Global Strategic Marketing and other regional partners to ensure a seamless positioning for Janssen Oncology across the globe. The role will require leadership of our market access marketing strategy, working with the SCG team to ensure a seamless and unsurpassed patient experience along with innovative programs that ensure patients start and stay on therapy. The Senior Director will work to direct and deliver an integrated channel strategy, and Key Account Management team strategy, in order to identify opportunities to bring value in a changing market landscape with Alternate Payment Models and pathways. The Senior Director will work with Oncology Sales leadership to ensure the newly created KAM field roles are maximized, creating strategic direction and tactical support to enhance our effectiveness to new stakeholder groups in local markets. In addition, this role will lead our strategy on customer engagement across all stakeholders for the business.
 
The Senior Director will work in conjunction with brand marketing leads, developing annual Business Plans for the franchise and executing both product and service innovations. In addition, the Senior Director will continue to evolve a 5-year Oncology strategic plan along with the Oncology Leadership Team that will ensure a clear path toward leadership in the Oncology marketplace.  This will require close collaboration with multiple functions including Sales, Sales training, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, Global Strategic Marketing, North America Pharma affiliates, Alliance Management, Commercial Excellence Corporate Communications and outside vendors in order to effectively execute key commercial activities.  The position will lead a team of existing marketing professionals supporting market access (including staff that has direct reports).  The Senior Director will be responsible for staffing, training and developing the marketing and Key Account team members according to  Value Excellence principles and practices.
 
The Senior Director utilizes market research to properly plan Oncology franchise activities. Co-ordinates promotional activities with sales management. Partners with Sales Training on marketed products and updates as needed. Co -develops pricing and contracting tactics for the current and growing oncology portfolio with brand, working with SCG partners. Supports franchise team cross-functional initiatives. Plans and executes promotional activities at company conventions. Interacts effectively with New Business development, Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, Market Research, and Managed Care organizations in strategic long-term planning. Interacts and partners with key business partners including alliances and other partners on our current and future oncology portfolio in order to ensure alignment on strategies and tactics for these key products. Continually assesses competitive landscape and responds accordingly. Works within regulatory guidelines to achieve goals.  Work closely with senior leadership team to ensure appropriate resources and organizational alignment is available to capitalize on short-term and long-term business opportunities.

Responsible for leadership of all franchise marketing teams including access marketing, channel marketing, patient advocacy
