Do you want to lead a global team supporting our Roche IT Partners to get the best IT Infrastructure Services for critical Roche business needs?
Global Infrastructure & Solutions (GIS) connects innovation and productivity, ensuring that we provide excellent support, while at the same time providing innovative IT solutions to all our customers who consume IT Services within Roche.
As the Sr. Manager IT of Infrastructure Service Integration, you will report to the Global Head of Infrastructure Service Integration (ISI), working in close collaboration with the full ISI Team and Group Informatics organization and our IT Partners in Diagnostics, Group Functions, Pharma & Research and Early Development teams.
The Infrastructure Service Integration team is accountable to consult and support complex request coordination required by our IT Partners, in terms of integration of business applications into the IT infrastructure landscape, M&A activities, and other infrastructure integration projects. You will closely partner with all GIS Infrastructure Services (GIS-IS) teams and support Roche moving towards a more agile organization.
Your key roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide strong leadership and coaching to direct reports, in order to develop the next generation of leaders while nurturing a culture of agility and collaboration cross-functionally across the entire IS, GIS and Group IT organization.
Deliver excellent service experiences and a high level of satisfaction for our business and IT partners, keeping a close eye on productivity
Build a high-performing, global Infrastructure Services Integration organisation with a relentless focus on optimizing the cross-functional efficiency and end-to-end value of Infrastructure Services, to realize our shared GIS strategy.
Provide inspirational, engaging leadership to a team of IT professionals in North and South America.
Support the full IS organization to increase productivity, stability and innovation, especially in how we situationally balance flexibility, stability, and speed to provide agility to Roche and our business and IT partners.
Be actively involved with IT Partners to understand their business partners’ needs so that IS can create and enhance improve fit-for -purpose Infrastructure service offerings that create real business value.
Provide infrastructure services that are world-class for timeliness, flexibility, stability, scalability, reliability and cost efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement to enable growth and efficiencies in our value proposition through strategic investments in both service and process improvements cross-functionally across IS and GIS
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, Masters degree preferred
5+ years leadership experience in multinational environments with proven track record of running high performing teams and environments
Infrastructure background/experience
Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage the organization and align them to a shared GIS IS vision and strategy
Capability to listen actively to stakeholders and fully understand their needs, to clarify assumptions to avoid misunderstandings and over-commitments, and to transmit that aligned understanding to other collaborators using simple words adapted for the audience.
Proven experience to work with and influence at all levels within the organization from senior management to subject matter experts, all the while building trustworthy relationships
Wide knowledge of current and emerging information technologies and demonstrated ability to identify new tools to keep the organization on the cutting edge of informatics and science
Excellent communication and influencing skills to socialize and drive new ideas within the organization, advocating new approaches and translating complex technology into meaningful value propositions for our business and informatics  leaders
Demonstrated flexibility and a high willingness to accept and lead change in a dynamic and changing global complex environment.

This position is based in South San Francisco and is not eligible for relocation
