Sr. PMO Analyst
Operations & Technology
The Senior Portfolio Analyst will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across Enterprise Technologies to ensure proper coordination and execution of activities related to Enterprise Technologies governance and project management best practices. The position requires significant interaction with cross-functional departments within the Enterprise Technologies organization and excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Support the Enterprise Technologies portfolio, focusing on PMO governance and project management best practices
Develop relationships with leaders and team members within each Enterprise Technologies pillar (Network, Hosting, Operations, Client Services, and Business Engagement)
Support project intake, vetting, and prioritization processes within each sub-portfolio, as needed
Analyze project reporting outputs for data integrity, trends, themes, and improvement opportunities
Assess portfolio, programs, and project health, including financial budgets and follow-up with project managers on a weekly basis
Assist in the development of defined processes and tool standards for program and project management
Assist in implementing resource management and capacity planning efforts for Enterprise Technologies
Partner with Finance and Enterprise Technologies capital management for annual planning/budget process, monitoring proposal efforts and ensuring completion of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, resource plans, etc.
Support ad-hoc project data management and report requests
Prepare materials for monthly program reviews with leadership
Support project managers needs related to project management processes and tools; troubleshoot project management application issues, as needed
Maintain library of project management templates and documentation
Create and maintain training materials to ensure project managers are trained in the current processes and standards
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Project Management Office or IT project management
Experience with traditional SDLC methodologies as well as Waterfall/Agile/Scrum methodologies, etc.
Experience in governance best practices (phase gate reviews, program reviews, quality assurance reviews)
Solid documentation skills related to business analysis and requirements gathering
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to relate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, Project or related applications
Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills
Results- and goal-oriented, with initiative to work until job is complete
Appropriate sense of urgency and commitment for critical deliverables

Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization including managing through cross-business area or business unit prioritization discussions
Project management experience specifically in knowledge areas: Time, cost, scope, quality, HR, communications, procurement, integration and risk management techniques

PMP or CAPM
Experience within media and entertainment industry
Demonstrated track record of aligning IT objectives and programs to business goals and strategies
