The Sr. Sales Channel Sales Manager position will be responsible for developing and growing the relationship with the North American regional OEMs and system integrators, with specific attention on penetrating accounts in the server segment with AMD server platforms.  This person will be responsible for growing strong relationships through face-to-face engagements with the Executive staff of these customers.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Discover, create, grow and close incremental business opportunities within the key System Integrators
Where required, engage the AMD and ODM sales teams in support of the server business
Assist Product Marketing in aligning ODM platform requirements with AMD customer demands
Collaborate with AMD Component Marketing to develop AMD platform communications and trainings that articulate the benefits of ODM platforms
Ensure AMD has relevant mindshare within key SI sales, marketing and executive management
Achieve and exceed sales targets/quotas
 
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Utilize strategic probing to identify, qualify, evaluate potential business
Build relationships with key contacts and move beyond gatekeepers
Outstanding organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills

Strategically agile and understand ambiguity
 
PREFERRED EXPIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred
10 years of sales experience 
10 years of related industry or segment experience
International experience
