Mars Wrigley Confectionery is looking for a SRM Pricing Analyst to work in Hackettstown, NJ and move to the Newark, NJ new Hub office by July 2020.

The SRM Pricing Analyst (this role) reports to the SRM Pricing Manager serving as a key business partner for Sales and CBU/Marketing teams.  This analyst role is an integral member of the local centre of excellence team for pricing, helping build an understanding of the retail pricing value chain for the development and execution of MWC pricing strategies for profitable category growth with customers.   The primary objectives for the SRM Pricing Analyst are to:

•Assess portfolio pricing & category profit pool performance to inform pricing strategy and execution plans. Monitor and analyze pricing information to create a holistic Price Value chain view of the MWC portfolio, ensuring category, consumer, customer, company (CBU) and competitive impacts are well-understood and integrated within pack-price recommendations and execution plans.

•Support the delivery of portfolio Net price realization and product mix plans. Work closely with the SRM Pricing Manager and CBU teams to set annual pricing & mix targets, establishing clear net pricing corridors across Blockbuster SKUs.    This includes helping to reduce potential portfolio financial risks caused by Cross border Operations/Parallel trade, working with the Regional Pricing Council and leveraging pricing tools such as ‘Sonar’ where available’

•Improve organization understanding of Pricing through regular and informative reporting and insights. This includes working with other functions to consolidate a range of different data sources (internal & external) to ensure the effects of pricing on the category, consumer, customer, company (CBU) and competition are understood through robust reporting and KPI’s and these are part of local Pricing Council forums

Key Accountabilities

•Own the creation and maintenance of the CBU brand pack price architecture curve reporting and analysis (from RRP to List Price & TNP) to ensure a clear understanding of the portfolios architecture and recommended trade margins and profit pools, and partner with:

o       CBU/Marketing teams to help inform ongoing gaps in portfolio for
