The Institute for Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy department is currently seeking a Statistician position which will be located in Frankfort, KY. The individual in this role will be primarily responsible for performing statistical analysis on large claims data to identify important relationships and trends for KY Medicaid utilization, and then summarizing and communicating findings to high level stakeholders. The individual will use statistical software tools to develop advanced analytics that support the strategic goals of stakeholders. They will develop complex data visualizations including but not limited to: interactive Tableau dashboards, infographics, charts and graphs that facilitate the explanation and communication of important findings. The individual must be able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize work, and remain functional under pressure and aggressive timelines.
