Job SummaryChecks order forms for proper coding, quantities requested and authorized approvals. Maintains inventory levels by checking shelves and preparing transfer orders. Stocks vendor deliveries in supply room and stores, if needed. May operate a computer terminal.
Job ResponsibilitiesPosition Scope
Marks items with identification codes.
Examines received items to verify conformance with specification and purchase orders.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Must be capable of a full range of body movements.
Must attach resume and Winter 2020 class schedule (weekly view).
Requires good health and eyesight.
Requires being able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Should be a high school graduate or the equivalent.
No prior work experience necessary.

Physical RequirementsUsually works both in an air-conditioned office and in a non-air-conditioned warehouse.
Job hazards include, but are not limited to slippery floors, minor back injuries and driving related injuries due to the amount of time spent driving the electric cart.
Uses and electric cart, push cart, broom, mop, bucket squeegee, vacuum cleaner, pallet jack and ladders.
Uses paper, pencils, pens, keys, cleaning cloths and towels, inter-office envelopes, invoices, purchase order forms, rubber bands, paper clips, scotch tape, and ruler.
Work schedule varies according to assigned work shift, Monday through Saturday with one day off.
