Title: Stock Room Associate
Function: Sales
Department: Store
Reports to:  Store Manager or Store Operations Manager if applicable
Direct Reports: None
Overall Job Function:  Responsible for keeping the stock room organized and ensuring a sense of urgency that all merchandise is placed on the sales floor in a timely and efficient manner including call-off, new production, accessories, sale and back stock
Job Responsibility including but not limited to:
Customer Service
Provides customer service throughout the store and works on the sales floor including the fitting room and cash point when the stock room responsibilities are completed
Job Knowledge
Unloads delivery truck, receives, opens and unpacks merchandise and labels merchandise with security tags per H&M standards.
Ensures the Bill of Lading and store transfer paperwork are completed correctly and in its entirety
Responsible for stocking and replenishing all merchandise to the sales floor.
Ensures knowledge of garments, display guidelines and merchandise standards and assists visual team in the set up of activities, campaigns and promotions
Actively keeps registers and fitting rooms well maintained and replenished with necessary supplies
Maintains the stock room in an orderly and efficient manner, i.e. back stock, new production and call off
Team Player
Works effectively with team members to ensure the selling floor, cash point, fitting rooms and stockroom are clean and well maintained per H&M’s store standards
Adheres to H&M values and internal standards policies, and procedures contained in the H&M Employee Handbook

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
High School Degree or equivalent preferred
Prior stock room experience preferred
Ability to lift in excess of 40 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc) for a short distance
Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements:
Excellent communication and organization skills
Customer service skills
Ability to run a cash register
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends
Must be able to take initiative to complete tasks and solve problems
Ability to set and meet deadlines
Ability to work as a Sales Advisor when not needed in stockroom
Job Status:  Non-Exempt, Hourly (Part-Time or Full-Time)
