Join us and let's shape the future of Credit Suisse together.We Offer Provide legal coverage to Equity Derivatives – ITS, for the issuance and marketing of Reg S, Rule 144A and SEC Registered structured notes and warrants, including exchange traded notes (ETNs), linked to equities, commodities, currencies, interest rates and combinations of these assets, and for the development of new financial and proprietary index-linked products. Provide advice on shelf registration statements and medium term note programs and issuances exempt from registration under Reg S, Rule 144A or Section 3(a)(2).
Work with traders, marketers, structurers, outside counsel and other stakeholders in connection with the development, structuring, marketing, execution, distribution and documentation of structured note transactions. Advise on legal, regulatory and reputational issues arising from such transactions.
Provide advice to sales and trading personnel and to key functional support groups, including operations, compliance, treasury and new business groups, on a range of substantive rules and regulations promulgated by the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, stock exchanges and self-regulatory organizations.
Liaise with legal and compliance colleagues as well as functional support groups with respect to cross-border transactions, initiatives and issues. Assist in developing and implementing legal policies for the Bank related to the covered products and businesses.

A law degree and admission to the New York State Bar
A minimum of 3 to 6 years of professional experience in legal and regulatory matters relating to structured notes and/or derivatives, in-house or in a business law firm
Working knowledge of the ’33 Act, ’34 Act, ’40 Act and related FINRA, CFTC and SRO rules and regulations
Sound analytical skills and conceptual thinking
Ability to handle multiple projects independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment
