Are you passionate about design and visual communications? Would you like a chance to apply what you have learned on live projects? F5 Networks is offering the opportunity to join us on a summer internship. Interns at F5 work in collaboration with senior creative pros and marketing campaign team members who are eager to share knowledge as you contribute to the team.

 

In addition to participating in an interesting project, interns will be invited to our Seattle, WA headquarters to join in on our “Boot Camp.” At this event, you will have the opportunity to learn details about our most successful products. There will also be plenty of social events, allowing you to get to know leaders throughout the F5 organization and your fellow interns!

 

Position Summary:

This is a non-technical internship position designed to provide qualified students an opportunity to learn valuable knowledge in a hands-on manner, doing visual communications and production design work for the Security Marketing Team. You’ll collaborate with F5’s internal creative team, campaign managers, researchers and writers, UX designers, and web producers to undertake challenging projects that will provide the opportunity for you to develop or enhance your skills and make significant contributions to F5. Specifically, you will get a chance to support content and experience design for F5’s security campaigns, events, and web experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

Create design solutions that innovatively solve business problems and align with brand and creative standards

Provide production support for the Security digital experience and campaign team and F5 Labs threat research team

Collaborate closely with design peers, copywriters, campaign managers and developers

Keep projects on track and communicate project status with manager and team

 

Applicants should be/possess:

A current student enrolled in a graphic design or visual communications program

Approaching their Junior year or beyond at the time of the internship (exceptional Sophomore or Freshmen may be considered)

Available for a 10-12 week internship between June and September of 2019

Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Collaborative, works well with design direction

Self-motivated problem solver, with knowledge in both print and digital media

Organized and detail oriented

Solid technical understanding of computing environments and asset management systems
