This role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining show/set quality for all Entertainment elements. In concert with the Creative Director and/or Design staff, the Show Quality Supervisor defines and ensures compliance with Entertainment goals and intent. Acts as creative point and lead on specific assigned projects, supervising any associated staff and workloads, and determines strategies to ensure the successful completion of all tasks and/or assignments from original concept design through production, final installation and maintenance.
·Maintain set/show quality, including performers and scenic. Provide regular show notes to performers and communicate feedback to operations venue management. Partner with operations management to create, implement and complete plans to address performance issues. Complete on stage/set performance sections of any and all performer evaluations.
·Responsible for the direction, development and supervision of creative personnel, including but not limited to performance/show captains, writers, choreographers, dance captains and music/vocal coaches assigned to a project.
·Support and assist (as assigned) in developing and implementing plans for enhancement of current element or launch of new element.
·Support overall philosophy of Entertainment department and assist in enforcing policy and procedure with all employees.
·Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health and Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy, procedures, training and employee involvement activities.
·Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s Fine Arts degree from a four year college or university in Theater Management or equivalent experience within the Professional Theatrical Industry preferred.
• Performance and/or show direction background and experience preferred.
• Previous experience in theme parks or similar environments is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Extensive experience with Improv and Theatrical production performers.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate present information and answer questions in one–on-one and group situations.
