Cisco is adding a Supplier Commodity Manager to our team in San Jose, CA!
Global Supplier Management has responsibility for driving Supplier business strategies, capabilities, and overall necessary development as a Cisco supplier. As a Memory Supplier Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects – business strategies, goals, costs, performance, and contracts – of the partnership between Cisco and the Supplier.
You understand Cisco’s business needs and requirements; you own and drive the requirements, expectations, and give mentorship / direction to Supplier. You'll collaborate to understand and articulate trade-offs, influence business decisions, and drive satisfactory resolutions. Possesses a sense of vision, ability to motivate and influence others, tackle problems, meet deadlines, and exhibit executive presence. This role requires knowledge of Cisco products and processes. You have the ability to transform complex cross Cisco technology roadmaps into a single sourcing and supplier management strategy.

Compliance -ISO, Tax, Buydown, E&O, Security, Human & Labor Rights, Ethics & IP etc.
Who You'll Work With
Your engagements internally will be up to and including the executive level in Cisco’s Supply Chain, Engineering Team and Finance Organization. External Executive connect points are expected at the executive level, and key account teams with our Supply Base.
Who You Are
You have excellent presentation andinterpersonal skills including written, verbal, and listening skills.
In-depth knowledge of sourcing practices and negotiations; exhibit sound judgement and strong integrity.
Deep understanding of industry trends.
Strong with your knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, and the networking industry.
You understand supply chain management requirements at each phase of development and manufacturing process cycle.
You are adept at influencing partner executives.
Capable of influencing internal decision makers to make decisions aligned with strategies and objectives benefiting the entire organization.
Strong team building skills to build bridges between different functional areas.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain.
Commodity Management experience required.
Extensive business strategy knowledge and implementation knowledge.
Bachelors degree; MBA desirable.
