Position Summary:

Develop solutions to the most complex business challenges within the Kroger Supply Chain. Responsible to identify opportunities within the Supply Chain and develop and to lead analytics projects, with the ability to effectively communicate results, summarize findings and propose next steps. Essential Job Functions:

Provide leadership and support for strategic network project development, building analytical business cases and investment justification
Organize and lead cross-functional teams including retail, technology, procurement, merchandising, operations, finance, and management
Solve complex supply chain problems using quantitative and qualitative financial analysis to design solutions that meet business needs and maximize ROI
Establish project scope, schedules, budgets, transition plans, and dependencies
Evaluate impact of Automation and recommend future strategies
Drive strategic decisions though data summary and presentation using visualization and business intelligence tools
Deliver presentations to leadership including measurement, analysis, and recommendations
Identify capabilities and processes that drive continuous improvement, prepare benefit projections, and complete post-implementation variance analysis
Plan, perform and complete process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma)
Develop metrics and refine system parameters for operations planning and KPI continuous improvement
Mine, refine, and utilize complex data
Perform network optimization, inventory optimization, product flow analysis, operations planning, and cost to serve analysis
Utilize Labor Optimization Modeling to ensure efficient resource utilization
Utilize Transportation Optimization Modeling to ensure efficient routing and fleet utilization
Create supply chain network models for multi-channel supply chain
Establish standardized tools and templates for repeatable and sustainable processes
Ability to travel independently up to 50%

Minimum Position Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience in handling multiple projects and assignments while attaining on-time completion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Experience with supply chain modeling applications (Llamasoft/Supply Chain Guru, JDA, etc)
Experience in data mining software and Business Intelligence Solutions (Tableau, Alteryx, Spotfire, SAP Business Objects, etc)
Experience in relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc)
Experience in statistical software (R or Python preferred)
Ability to effectively and professionally present information to management
Experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Process Engineering, Strategic Consulting, or Network Analytics
Level 7: Lead small moderately complex projects $50M) of high complexity; 7 years professional experience with a full understanding of area of specialization
Desired Previous Job Experience: 

Six Sigma Certification
PMI Professional Business Analysis certification
