The UnitedHealth Group Talent
Marketing Leader is an important role within the UnitedHealth Group
Talent Acquisition team that brings marketing expertise to the talent
experience. Operating within the global Talent Marketing strategy framework, this
role will consult, guide and align UnitedHealth Group Talent Marketing and
Talent Go-to-Market strategy with brand, business and talent strategies for talent
marketing needs for assigned audiences. Additionally, this role is responsible for
leading a team of Talent Community Managers to effectively attract, educate, engage,
and retain talent while tailoring to the needs of particular talent functions, personas
and geographies. The Talent Marketing Leader will leverage consumer marketing
best practices to create and maintain a highly impactful experience reflective of
the UnitedHealth Group and Employer brands. Responsibilities also include
fostering collaboration across a community of practice to enable greater
productivity and performance of Talent Community Managers; aligning with the
enterprise talent marketing team on brand messages and key campaigns; and collaborating
on how to leverage marketing, vendor partner and employee advocacy capabilities
to maximize the talent experience to achieve business results.


Primary
Responsibilities:


- Work in close partnership with the UnitedHealth Group Talent
Acquisition team(s), UnitedHealth Group Talent Office(s) and enterprise Talent Marketing
to successfully consult, align, guide and lead a team to execute on a
next-in-class talent experience within a global talent marketing strategy
framework
- Lead and mentor
professionals in order to build and maintain high performance teams. Responsible for
Talent Marketing:
- Daily prioritization of work leveraging Kanban practices and
tools
- Data-based decision making to inform strategy and execution,
including prioritization of work, evolution in process and ongoing measurement
of effectiveness
- Content strategy and engagement strategy planning;
development and execution while closely partnering with the enterprise and
business teams, as well as external partners

- Maximize, obtain and distribute talent marketing resources
aligned to priorities and goals, and/or secure marketing resources, to maximize
return for the organization while enabling the team to do their best work
- Partner with the enterprise talent marketing team to deliver talent
marketing strategies, campaigns, and advocacy initiatives that maintain the
integrity of UnitedHealth Group’s employment brand while serving to
build/maintain our reputation as a place to work among current and potential talent
pools to achieve business results
- Understand and consistently follow marketing processes. Able to consult with others on marketing
processes and roles
- Cultivate a
global talent marketing “team of teams” and “community of practice” which
reflects, realizes and brings to life our United Culture and five core values
of Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation and Performance
- Partner across
the enterprise and talent organizations to contribute to work impacting the
end-to-end talent experience including leading project teams
- Understands & knows the UnitedHealth Group business model,
as well as the businesses that comprise it and the role they play in the larger
model. Understands the unique needs of
the business and the implications for talent with the nuance by geography in
the talent marketing & employer branding eco-system
- Maintain strong
relationship management with key stakeholders across the business, human
capital and enterprise teams, as well as vendor partners, external marketing
partners and agencies
- Analyze and
assess consumer, talent and market trends, applying key insights to new and
existing talent marketing strategies and processes


Required
Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
- 6+ years of digital marketing experience with demonstrated
business results
- 2+ years of demonstrated success leading marketing
teams and delivering value through driving exceptional digital and mobile
experiences aligned to business outcomes


Preferred
Qualifications


- Master’s degree / MBA or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in employment branding,
talent marketing and/or employee advocacy
- Experience with persuasive skills and diplomacy to
influence outcomes without hierarchical authority working within a global team
- Experience working within a matrixed environment
- Experience with digital platforms and HR Technology
critical to delivering an exceptional talent experiences
- Experience managing and working with external
marketing and agency partners to support digital marketing initiatives
- Strong business acumen
