As an International Tax Services Senior in our Financial Services Organization we’ll look to your knowledge across a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising effective outcomes to some of the most complex challenges around. Your key responsibilities
Depending on your unique skills and ambitions, you could be handling various responsibilities, including:
Assisting with developing and implementing technical tax planning ideas and strategies to help clients mitigate global tax risk
Researching and analyzing complex international tax issues
Drafting of memorandums, technical PowerPoint presentations, and client email communications
Preparation and review of US international tax forms (i.e., Form 5471, 8865, 8858)
Complex modeling (i.e., E&P studies, transition tax calculations, ETR calculations)
Review and assistance on tax provisions, ASC 740 analyses, and other items related to assurance engagements
Project management of open client projects
Coordination with EY colleagues throughout the world
Participation on client conference calls and meetings
Training, reviewing work product, and mentoring junior Staff

To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field) and/or a Juris Doctorate in Law; A Master's degree in Taxation preferred (an MST or LLM)Progress toward (or completion of) a valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status
Basic understanding of US international tax rules and ability to analyze complex tax issues
Ability to work in an extremely dynamic and fast paced professional services environment
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with others in a diverse setting, including the ability to communicate complex tax and industry concepts
Ability to collaboratively work with others as part of a high-performing team
Strong and determined work ethic with a drive for success
Exceptional project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while effectively multitasking a diverse project work load

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization, ideally with a focus on the financial services industry
