Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Use proper and responsible handling of product received from vendors
Retain menu and product knowledge
Understand and follow proper food storage procedures to include: product rotation (FIFO), day dots for items prepped, dating product properly, etc.
Utilize proper food handling procedures during prep and cooking _ Operate all necessary kitchen equipment properly and safely
Accurately prepare fresh food by following detailed recipe screens and prep the correct quantities according to daily prep sheets
Refer to and complete all course POCs that are listed for BOH employees in the CREATE training platform
Clean and maintain kitchen, dish and prep areas in accordance with company and Health Department standards
Understand and abide by company standards and all company policies (employee handbook)
Understand proper use of recipe and order screens
Follow and comply with all applicable Health Department procedures and sanitation levels as well as adhere to safe work practices throughout the shift
Use proper cooling methods to ensure product quality and temperature
Perform shift side work to include proper opening and closing duties
Maintain proper hygiene and appearance that projects a positive company image at all times
Respect, communicate, and collaborate with co-workers and management staff
Attend and participate in scheduled staff meetings
