Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience creating and executing on physical-to-virtual (P2V) and virtual-to-virtual (V2V) solution architectures or enterprise infrastructure migration plans.
Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams and customer bases.
Ability to travel 30% of the time as required.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA degree in Management, Engineering, or related technical field.
Experience in application/workload migration, and experience working with channel partners, systems integrators and third party developers to deliver successful solutions.
Experience in account management, client service and/or management consulting.
Demonstrated ability to present technical materials to a range of partners on both technical and non-technical matters.
Excellent communication, project and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into technology solutions.
About the job
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will be responsible for ensuring customers get the most from their Google Cloud Platform and G Suite investments. You will establish customer relationships by providing customers with technical and project management leadership, which align directly to the customers’ larger business objectives.
In this role, you'll develop relationships, both internally and externally, and connect with business executives and IT stakeholders to develop an understanding of their business requirements and goals. Building on this knowledge, you will develop a strategic roadmap and facilitate customers’ digital transformation and migration to Google Cloud Platform and G Suite solutions. As the primary contact, you will manage ongoing transformation activities and ensure the long-term success of the account.

Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a position as an advisor to business executives and IT stakeholders for Google Cloud Platform and G Suite accounts, ensuring their business priorities are met using Google Cloud solutions.
Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful migrations to Google Cloud solutions.
Become an expert in Google Cloud Platform and G Suite solutions to provide effective operational and technical advice around these technologies.
Channel customers’ feedback to Google Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure excellent in-production experience.
Develop best practice recommendations for Google Cloud partners based on experience gained during customer engagements.
