Description

The Cisco Meraki Team is looking for a passionate and creative Technical Trainer. In this role you will have the freedom to create, develop and lead Technical Training programs for Cisco Meraki’s Global Technical Support Team as we continue to innovate, create, and release new products, features and services. As the Technical Training Program manager for the Meraki Technical Support Team, you will be impacting the operations and growth of a widely expanding technical support team and developing the talents of a world class organization.

 Responsibilities

Perform detailed needs assessments, translating business needs into effective and engaging training programs
Craft and develop new training initiatives for new hires and ongoing technical and professional development
Design, implement and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of training programs, adapting when necessary to include new training techniques and technologies
Establish curriculum and culture of learning within the support team
Periodically train all newly hired Network Support Engineers on all Meraki technologies and oversee training execution of training programs (switching, routing, 802.11 wireless, Mobile Device Management, Meraki Dashboard Architecture, and Unified Threat Management)
Oversee rotating group of support training facilitators and provide guidance and training surrounding effective training techniques
Work closely with counterparts across Cisco Meraki to share best practicesRequirements
Experience developing and implementing meaningful and impactful curriculum for a B2B enterprise company
Strong technical understanding of networking technologies, related enterprise services, and best practices for enterprise network management
Able to adapt and alter teaching style to suit the audience
Passion for technology, teaching, and improving the marriage of the two
Superior writing and organizational skills
Solve problems and produce solutions by critically thinking, collecting and analyzing data, and identifying alternatives when circumstances change.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical/analytic field
Willingness to travel 10-20% internationally
