We are looking for a dedicated and experienced software tester, ideally with very good IT Infrastructure or software development skills to work in a collaborative and friendly CTO Application Hosting team on exciting Cloud deliveries, run in an Agile way.

What will you be doing?

Working with development teams and end-user community to lead efforts in manual/exploratory testing.
Will define and evolve test approach for various applications / AWS migration
Participate in requirements grooming, help to draw out acceptance criteria.
Design and write acceptance criteria and tests using BDD approach
Develop software and implementations BDD scenarios
Work with the project team to provide early and continuous feedback 
Analysis of technical specifications, work with the project team to identify gaps
Design and execute manual tests
Management of technical issues associated with test environments or application interfaces arising during test execution 
Constantly develop and evolve engineering policies, procedures, reporting and documentation to further enhance the delivery from the team.
Constantly review standards and best practices to identify performance improvements. 
Suggesting new ways forward and coming up with new feature ideas.
Participation in cross-functional development teams.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics and/or relevant years of work experience. 
6+ years of Automation testing using Selenium / cucumber or behave frameworks 
6+ years of experience with various testing platform including automation, manual and exploratory testing
5+ years of hands on experience with Redhat Linux or any other flavor
5+years working in modern Agile development methodologies
3+ years of strong knowledge of TDD and BDD practices
1-2+ years of programming experience ideally in Gherkin with Python and /or Java.
Skills that will help you in the role:
Knowledge of Public cloud with an interest in becoming an expert
Basic knowledge of system architecture for cloud infrastructure
Active in defining testing principles and standards
Risk-based approach to testing – ability to identify defects and evaluate and quantify potential risk.
Experience using GIT and developing as part of a team utilising pull request methodology
Understanding trade-offs between unit, integration and system testing and embracing continuous product delivery
Knowledge and understanding of CI/CD processes, concepts and benefits. Understand benefit of fully-automated deployments, immutable artefacts, release toggles
Understanding the difference between structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Understanding the general data product types that would be used to manage each type of data.
