Position Summary:

Responsible for sales, promotional spending, and selling activities for specific national sales accounts. Oversees any assigned brokers, distributors, and Turkey Hill Sales Merchandisers to deliver sales goals. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability and our Customer 1st strategy. Essential Job Functions:

Supervise and participate in broker activities: periodic space allocation reports; competitive activities reports; annual customer business review and headquarters calls; retail calls and activities; plan-o-gram development and implementation; category management study and recommendations; retail promotional opportunities; retail promotional opportunities; new stores or customer solicitation; trade events; collections and deductions adjudication and negotiations.
Perform and conduct written performance reviews of annual broker and sales merchandisers.
With Trade Marketing and Finance, develop annual sales and spending plan by customer and market, including pricing, feature & display performance, and item authorization goals.
Solicit direct (non-broker) account sales.
Provide sales service to direct (non-broker) account customers.
Serve as National Accounts coordinator for company functions such as: Accounting, Marketing, Distribution and Route Sales.
Make and keep vital contacts within the retailer/wholesale trade.
Make recommendations regarding national or regional marketing programs and opportunities.
Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice regulations and safety guidelines
Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.
Accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Bachelor's degree Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5 years consumer products sales experience including calling on major regional or national accounts.
Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions.
Proven leadership skills.
Ability to travel independently.
Desired Previous Job Experience

8 years branded consumer products experience including calling on major regional or national accounts.
3 years management experience.
3 years Food/Beverage Industry experience.
