The ROYAL CANIN Brand Manager - Veterinarian, as part of a team of marketers, will help lead the development and execution of marketing programs and campaign initiatives and new product launches and help lead post activity/event analysis. Additionally, this position will support the development of annual marketing and communications plans, track key performance indicators and report on results.



Bachelor's degree in business or marketing required; MBA or previous experience in brand required.
4-6 years marketing experience in CPG (consumer packaged goods) companies preferred with an understanding of the following areas: product development innovation, sales/analytics, packaging, pricing, advertising, promotions, and/or communications
Creative thinker and problem solver with a passion for brand strategy.
Excellent multi-tasking, project management, and prioritization skills a must.  
Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
Ability to translate data into actionable insights, strong analytical skills and passion for understanding all of the elements of the business.
Ability to function as a team player and project leader in an open office environment
Strong personal presence and experience influencing internal and external partners. Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships.


This position reports directly to the Brand Director
This position will be located in the Royal Canin USA corporate office in St. Charles, MO
Overnight and weekend travel required, up to 25% to include domestic and limited international travel


Develop, analyze and implement annual marketing strategies with a focus on improving ROI and supporting strategic brand growth, equity, household penetration and/or D2B penetration.
Influence global innovation/renovation plans with market category, business and consumer insights, competitive communication and claims as inputs to drive brand profitability and growth.  Provide management oversight for the launch of product innovations to US market including product news, new packaging, and analysis of portfolio profitability.
