VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE

Mobilitie, LLC is currently seeking a Vice President, Finance to join our team in Newport Beach, California. Mobilitie is one of the largest privately held wireless infrastructure companies in the United States. We currently own and operate cell towers, DAS, small cell, fiber networks, and Wi-Fi systems throughout the US. Moreover, we advise carriers on network operations, performance and improvement opportunities.

The Vice President, Finance directs and oversees the financial planning and analysis, budgeting and consolidated reporting functions for one of Mobilitie's major lines of business. They will develop forecasts for future business growth and general financial outlook, provide leadership by working with other executives and teams to establish long-range goals and strategic plans. This position will be a "Go-To" resource for the CFO, COO, and CEO and will have considerable interaction with and visibility to the entire Senior Leadership team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance. Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making Supporting Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis and reporting. Prepare presentations to Senior Management Team.
Provide analysis of monthly business unit financial statements at multiple levels of granularity, and provide meaningful insights to the business and to management
Develop and maintain regular reports for use by executive management in performing daily operations
Build close working relationships with project managers and estimators to help increase profitability
Perform other duties as assigned by the President and management to support the needs of the organization.
Prepare analysis and materials (documents, PowerPoint presentations) to support executive leadership operations reviews including regional financial reports, roadmaps, progress-to-plan materials, issue analysis reports
Work in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders in the identification of functional, organizational and/or procedural issues and bring about swift and effective solutions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA preferred
10+ years of relevant work experience
Advanced understanding of financial statement analysis (IS, BS, CF)
Knowledge of JDE/Oracle Accounting Software
Big 4 accounting experience
Executive presence and excellent communication skills, given role will be regularly interacting with senior leadership
Demonstrated experience in a high transaction environment. Strong understanding of financial statements and key performance indicators
Demonstrated history of identifying and resolving a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways, as well as exercising good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions
Demonstrated strength working cross functionally to drive issue resolution, results driven, problem solver, self-starter
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; working knowledge of Access, SQL
Construction or Telecom Network/Infrastructure experience a plus
