Vice President, Production Planning and Strategy

This position will be responsible for Production Strategy, Project Management, Capital Governance and Scheduling. They will lead a team focused on project management for production and builds, product application management, resource scheduling and analytics reporting, in support of, but not limited to, operations within 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York. Additionally, they will partner with the facilities project management team to provide operational leadership on production-focused construction projects.
This individual will partner closely with other members of O&T and our clients on various projects and product management. They will be responsible for leading exploratory conversations, identifying stakeholder requirements, developing/executing on action plans. This includes end-to-end workflow analysis of business processes in an effort to drive short-and long-term strategies to improve operational efficiency and improve production capability.
They will be responsible for the scheduling team focused on applied labor and developing models to communicate efficiency strategies. In addition to scheduling labor, they will also be required to partner with engineering to develop orchestration tools to schedule and control production resources.
Specific Responsibilities include –
Drive project ownership across the team and ensure partnership with key stakeholders
Facilitate conversations in order to develop strategies and extract requirements & objectives.
Partner with and develop strong stakeholder relationships with business leaders. This includes working closely with Clients, O&T business units and NBCU owners
Partnering with department leadership and peer group to develop LRP strategies
Governance responsibility for production capital planning and spend
Partner with engineer to establish and develop software defined production workflows, developing best practice recommendations and rollout plans.
Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats associated with projects and initiatives
Establish a change control process and spend tracking model, including cost approval groups for single point of tracking, reporting and pacing
Production planning and labor scheduling, including but not limited to Rock Center Operations production labor
Scheduling of pooled resources allocation and centralized shared back end
Establishing productivity reporting to quantify strategic plays
Lead the metric reporting on key KPI’s, including reliability reporting and unassigned time management
Develop report out presentations that capture operational status & functional issues/metrics
