Title: Store Visual Manager
Function: Sales
Department: Store
Reports to:  Store Manager- dotted line to District Visual Manager
Direct Reports: Visual Merchandiser(s)
Overall Job Function:  Supervises, trains and leads the store visual merchandising team in presenting the store according to the H&M guidelines in order to maximize sales in conjunction with the Store Management team.
Job Responsibility including but not limited to:
Trains, coaches and gives daily feedback on garment presentation to the visual merchandisers
Conducts annual reviews with the visual merchandising staff together with the store manager
Identifies future talent and develops the visual merchandisers in the store to ensure continued internal growth within the visual organization
Ensures garment presentation and garment care is executed per H&M guidelines referenced in the below information sources

·          Technical Book
·          Campaign Information
·          Sales Tools & Store Information
Plans and implements all store campaigns and activities together with the store team.
Plans and organizes the season kick-offs together with the Store Management team
Actively works in a commercial way to maximize sales, focusing on:
Top Priority Products, A-Areas and Basket items as well as ensuring that Red Thread is clearly demonstrated through the presentation of garments
Responsible for the care and maintenance of the display materials
Ensures that the Department Book, Store Book and Technical Book are updated with the latest refill pages
Communicates the season start information from Sales Organization and prepares the kick-off with the store management team
Informs store team about changes in the presentation of garments
Sets attainable store visual goals that are aligned with the district goals by working closely with Store Management.
Responsible for providing visual team schedules
Supports in-store operational routines when necessary
Keeps the visual room clean and organized
Checks the material arriving to the store in a timely fashion, confirming quantities, condition, etc
Ensures orders for display materials and supplies are placed in a timely manner
Minimizes security and safety risks.
Oversees that clear communication and feedback is maintained to and from the district
Customer Service
Ensures high quality H&M direct and indirect customer service by providing the best shopping experience for each customer and role modeling the 5 basic demands on the selling floor, in the fitting room and at the cash point

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Merchandising preferred or equivalent work experience
3 years of retail visual merchandising experience
2 years experience in a retail fashion field management position.
Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc) for a short distance
Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
Strong visual merchandising skills and the ability to drive business through creativity, fashion consciousness and commerciality.
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Ability to guide staff on visual tasks and organize multiple store levels/departments efficiently
Ability to provide leadership and guidance to store visual team through H&M’s shared values.
Exceptional customer service-and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently while still working within a team environment.
Must be able to work with hand and power operated tools and lift in order to execute display set ups.
Ability to work flexible hours and extended hours at times.
May be required to travel to support other stores
