What you’ll be doing...
Our business customers have ever-increasing demands and expectations, and we work tirelessly to meet or exceed them. You’ll be working on site for one of our most important national accounts, maintaining the voice and data network they rely on to stay up and running. Thanks to you, our customer will rest easy knowing they don’t need to worry about staying connected—because you’re on top of that.
Troubleshooting network issues in a 24x7 environment.
Documenting customer incidents and resolutions.
Providing onsite support in weather-related emergencies, like blizzards or hurricanes.
Supporting other customer locations as needed.
What we’re looking for...
Friends would describe you as a highly-motivated, self-starting problem solver. You’re organized and diligent, with an eye for detail, and you’re a great communicator, able to present information effectively to a variety of stakeholders. When it comes to customers, you go above and beyond, taking a real ownership of problems and ensuring resolution. You’re energized by the idea of working for a cutting-edge technology company that breaks new ground every day.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
Willingness to work overtime, nights (12am to 4am) and weekends, and travel occasionally.
Even better if you have:
A degree.
Project management experience.
Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers.
Experience with Avaya voice and data network systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office. Ideally, PowerPoint or Visio.
Working knowledge of wireless access points or ups.
