Description

Job Summary: Acts as a key liaison between the sales force and clients, developing sales program vision and focus, annual business plans, implementation, training, and back-office processes. In conjunction with the sales force, presents sales programs to prospective clients, installs new business, and maintains ongoing client relations.

Functional Responsibilities: Responsible for overall management and bottom-line results within the largest and/or most important geographic region(s) or national accounts, including service and problem resolution. Partners with the sales force to increase retention, cross-selling and up-selling additional products which produce a competitive advantage. Responsible for ongoing relations with the client including daily oversight of program, problem resolution, providing consultative support, and facilitating relations and communication between clients and Third-Party Administrators. Partners with the sales force to present sales program(s) to major prospective clients while overcoming objections. Leads the installation of program services which includes, plan design analysis, developing and implementing specific procedures and training, coordinating program installation with other MetLife products, securing agreement from the client, coordinating with other products/programs, and facilitating relations between clients and program administrators. Analyzes activity reports to identify program and sales opportunities. Acts as a liaison between the department and other areas of the organization. Designs, develops and delivers program training to the sales force, internal service organizations, and other internal partners. Integrates program processes across operating areas with an extensive list of internal partners. Provides day-to-day oversight of Case Coordinators, providing coaching, mentoring, and training. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Typical Experience: 7+ years of related business experience. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. Appropriate licensing, i.e. FINRA Series 6 or 7 and/or life & Health licensed.
